QWhat happens when parts are removed from contract master?

A

When parts are removed from contract master:

  1. No new orders can be placed if contract route is broken. >> Please do not remove parts if new orders will be placed.
  2. If contract route is broken after orders are placed but before order due date, order combine will fail and orders are not generated to suppliers. >> Please do not remove parts if there are orders pending order combine.
  3. Part and price master cannot be updated. >> Please do not remove parts if master may need to be updated.
  4. Export HS code may have error to be shown in shipping documents -> Please do not remove parts from export sales contract if shipping docs are not yet created.
  5. For parts using "By delivery" price reflection, error may happen when latest price master cannot be found during delivery. >> Please do not remove parts until delivery is completed.
  6. For customer contracts for inventory business, parts cannot be found on WisE screen for inventory adjustment and outbound. > Please do not remove parts if there will be future deliveries/ inventory adjustment.

Generally, it is not recommended to remove parts from contracts before all orders complete delivery without careful study. If it is necessary, please open a ticket with WisE Helpdesk to check your particular case.
