When Supplier Part Description is updated in WisE master, WisE sends part master I/F to WEST to update Material Description in WEST master. Since Material Description is a global master in WEST, the same description is updated for ALL WEST offices, even if it is only changed for 1 office in WisE master.

When WisE sends a new Material Description to WEST (compared to its last sending), WisE will send an email notification to all Import & Export offices that use the part (based on contract part route) and use WEST. Email is sent to Contract PIC of linked contracts.
