The SCAC (Standard Carrier Alpha Code) is a unique 2-to-4-letter code identifying transportation companies for electronic data exchange and tracking in shipping and logistics.

WisE uses the SCAC to update the latest container tracking data in WisE. The SCAC can be registered per shipping route. It can also be updated in each shipping document by exporters.
