QWhat is the purpose of the Contract PIC?

A

Since each office may have many users and responsible for different businesses, the Contract PIC identifies which user is responsible for each contract. The PIC can be assigned in contract master and is able to do the following.

  1. Place regular orders (where TTC Office is the Order Responsible Party)
  2. Confirm orders (for on behalf suppliers)
  3. Receive email notifications & ToDo items for the contract
  4. Confirm master requests from sellers
  5. Do approval (as set in the approval workflow)

The Contract Backup PIC is also able to do (1)-(5).

The Contract Manager is able to do (1)-(2). They may do (3)-(5) if there is no active Contract PIC or Backup PIC. They may also do (5) if set in the approval workflow.
