Cannot change Base UOM in WisE Part List
Base UOM cannot be changed by users.
This is because WisE has an interface with WEST accounting system, which cannot accept UOM changes for parts with past & current orders. Even if your office does not use WEST, the same part may be used by an office with WEST.
An alternative is to change the contract UOM in contract master. Please note that if your office uses WEST, it is necessary to register the contract UOM as a 2nd UOM in WEST.
If it is really necessary to change the Base UOM, please open a ticket with WisE helpdesk to investigate the possibility.
